I haven't been here in a long time, but I wanted to post this in a place where I knew there were people like myself, people whom owe a huge amount of the free time in their lives to this man's creativity.
Gary Gygax has died today.
I was given my first copy of the boxed set of Basic Dungeons and Dragons, when I was 14, in 1979. I remember to this day cutting out the little chits and placing them in plastic cups (cause it didn't come with dice) in my family's den as I read over the rules and tried to decide if I'd rather be "magic-user", or a fighter.

Yeah a bit sadend by the news and lossing the vision of Gary Gygax. Was just wondering if someone posted the news here but I should have known better......
