Our history begins with the founding of the <Gurubashi Nation> in August of 2005. The Guru'Na is a troll only guild and quickly aquired a reputation on Argent Dawn as one of the more dedicated RP guilds. Time passes and the role playing community dwindles on Argent Dawn. The Guru'Na remains, however, and is left as one of the few RP guilds Horde side when the Burning Crusade is released. As exciting as the new expansion is, it makes life more difficult for niche guilds like the Guru'Na. Our members have more new alts and are spread across two worlds and more levels.

Our solution? Expand.

We recently have created a new sister guild called the <Covenant of the Phoenix>. A blood elf only guild. This is the first step in a larger plan to eventually house five sister guilds within one community, one for each race of the Horde.

We call this meta-guild the "Scions of the Horde"!

The Scions are now recruiting. We're looking for new and veteran role players to join our ranks. Our goal is to build a meta-guild that will be at the center of the Horde role playing community. Alts and part time players are welcome as well. In the coming months we'll be creating guild for the orcs, tauren and forsaken. To many cool groups going on in WoW for me to do them all.....already on three servers. GL Demi with this effort, heck if the rest of the older guild members, in my guild, leave I might try transfering Ug over to AD. Doubt it will happen currently but time will tell.

If you ever feel you might do that then feel free to role up a level 1 alt and come to a few RP events to get to know the community vibe. It's not hardcore role playing. Hard to sustain that in WoW. More just a steady dedication to casual role playing, while trying to leave room for players who want more.

Well worse case I can enjoy reading your concepts of helping form a more realitic, no pun intended, back story of a troll. Just like orc, only certain troll clans have flocked to Thralls banner. While this can be a limiting factor it provides a certain cannon if you will that can help a RP community.

Matter of fact, only one tribe has actual member status within the Horde, the Darkspear. There is a second tribe that is closely allied to the Horde, this is the Revantusk.

We only accept trolls from one of these two backgrounds. If we didn't there probably would only be a handful of members who actually played according tho the lore. The overwhelming instinct of most troll players I've met in WoW is to create a troll from an obscure or made up tribe.

Any time you want to read up on the lore we have a decent collection posted on our forums.

Sounds interesting, but alas I do not have any characters on the horde side on AD. Though if the PvP ever frustrates me enough to move my characters off The Venture Co. I will make sure to move them to AD.

And if this little follow-up tidbit helps...I'm STILL playing. That's right! 4 months later, I'm still online 3-4 nights a week. Just got a new toon to 48 last night and I'm loving everything about running instances. I'm such a late bloomer!

If you ever feel that little urge in the back of your mind to revist a game that really provides some true fun, roll up an Alt on AD. Horde side.

I'm hoping Taka can get to 70 by the time the expansion comes out. If any of you think you'd be up for doing the same we could all run amok in Northrend together!

Still playing also got 2 lvl 70's one on a reg pve server the other on a pvp server. Working on a raid toon on the pve server also lvl 64 currently. Just no real fire in me to play WoW mainly just log on to pvp, grind a bit and chat. Also currently distracted by PotBS a wee bit so folks are seeing even less of me then normally in WoW. Still will see what the next expansion brings and maybe even transfer a lvl 70 horde to AD, who knows.

Right now I'm enjoying the new patch. The Maggisters' Terrace instance is a big challenge for those of us non-raider types. We're learning it as we go and having a lot of fun. Smile

Might be lazy and just dust off one of my troll alts on current server and lvl them. Think I have a lvl 20 or 30 troll sitting about collecting dust. Will get them lvled up as soon as I pry myself from pvp.....neat concept on the guild though got my mind going a bit.
