Children’s Privacy
Vagabond's Rest is committed to keeping the details of children private under the US, 1998, COPPA [Children's Online Privacy Protection Act]. Under COPPA, web sites are not permitted to collect private information from children under the age of 13 without written permission from the child’s parents of guardians. If you are under the age of 13 or you have a child under this age who wishes to use areas of the site that require some level or personal information be given then please send written permission first to: Vagabond's Rest c/o Randy Varnell, 4008 Clipper Court, Plano, TX 75023.

Parents or guardians that find that their children have given private information in accessing any parts of Vagabond's Rest can request that this information be destroyed by emailing privacy@vagabondsrest.com.

Registration
In order to use this Web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information in the form of an e-mail address. We use this information to contact the user about services on our site in which we believe he or she may have interest. Additionally, the e-mail address of each user is used by the system in an automated fashion, for mailing out notification of "events" or "information" relative to the community the user is a member of.

Profile
A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user's personally identifiable information (e-mail address + password combination) to perform the functions of the community hosting service. We do not share the user's profile with other third parties.

Forum, Members List, etc
By their very nature the Forum, Members List, etc are open to the public, any information given will be viewable to the general public. Vagabond's Rest does make every effort to keep details such as email addresses private, but if you do select to have your email address shown it will be viewable by the general public.

Browsing, Statistics & Cookies
Vagabond's Rest does maintain statistics, which are collected to provide statistical information about server usage, and to plan for future capacity and to ascertain which parts of the site people use. This information is never provided to third parties. When you visit our Web site, Vagabond's Rest may collect technical information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. This information (sometimes referred to as "non-personally identifiable information") may include the address (or "URL") of the Web site that you came from before visiting our site, which pages you visit on our site, which browser you used to view our site and any search terms you have entered on our site. Will Vagabond's Rest share my personal information?
Unless we have your express consent, Vagabond's Rest will NOT sell, rent or trade personal information such as membership data or e-mail lists to any third party. We treat all information you provide as confidential. Occasionally, we may contract with other companies to provide limited services on our behalf such as packaging, mailing and delivering purchases and processing event registration.

From time to time, we may be required to provide personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. Unless prevented by law, we will notify you prior to the release of such information. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

Do I have choices regarding how my information is used?
You remain in control of your information. Vagabond's Rest will NOT use or share the personal information we collect in ways unrelated to the purpose for which you provided the information without first obtaining your consent (opt-in). At the time you provide your information, you can choose whether you want to receive further communications about special offers, product information or other marketing messages.
