So what is a roleplaying?
Well, roleplaying is, by definition --
"the art of playing a character in a fictional setting" (thank you Misters Merriam & Webster).
However, as we know it really is much more than that. It is hours of development, thought and decision rolled up into the role or roles that you choose to portray.
To quote a future-best-selling-author and co-founder of this site:
"Roleplaying, [sic] takes us through the book and past that last page--past those two apocalyptic words that end our thrill ride.
Roleplaying allows us to step into the eyes of a character and attempt to experience that world first hand. "
That is what this community is here to provide for people -- friends and colleagues, foes and allies -- who have a common interest. This is a place where they can
share their ideas, their hopes, their dreams and do it without fear that someone in stormtrooper armor is going to come along in ruin it for them.
